So Much Accomplished!

I actually feel like I'm moving forward in life today, regardless of what's happening with John. I finished my book-New Yorker short-story anthology called Wonderful Town (Metamaus is next!). I got along smashingly with Adrian-he drives me crazy, but it makes the day so much better when we can get along, since we do spend eight hours together and are the only two people in our department. I submitted "Distractions Descriptions" to Kugelmass-my fourth submission in over a year (all submitted in the past two weeks). I added onto a conversation in Two Telegrams. I had a very long, very positive Italian lesson with Gio, who said I was doing wonderfully (and I made him laugh). I ate very cleanly with some cheese for breakfast, 2 oz of cashews and some cheese for a snack and a salad with vegetables, chicken, and cheese for lunch. I reconnected with Leah and Sari, and it turns out my friends still care about me-and I'm getting together with Sari for a drink tomorrow before packing for Boston.

Also, I think I looked pretty good today. It's the first time in a long time that I've thought that.
