I am the master of not doing what i need to do. I most definitely have a design project due saturday that i haven't started. And today i have to take a quiz on 3 chps of anthro i havent read. And read about typography and and do my review questions and discussion questions. So no Beetle for me tonight, though i am the reckless queen of irresponsibility, so it really wouldn't surprise me if i went.
Yesterday i went to hobby lobby to blow some of my bday $$$-purchased a speedball calligraphy quill pen and a jar of ink and spent the evening practicing writing. I absolutely LOVE the feel of dipping the tip into ink, i feel like Thomas Jefferson. I also got a pack of watercolor sponges though i see them being used w/ acrylics (actually, i already used them w/ acrylics hah), a jar of acrylic matt varnish which i'm gonna use for painting some elements of my furniture and for the finish on a pair of shoes i want to make (have you tried that super juicy...i think it's orbit gum that comes w/ the swirly wrappers? i want to get enough in all colors-i already have quite a bit-and make shoes w/ them). Lastly purchased 3 tubes of metallic paint-in some kind of shiny black, sapphire and peridot.
So clearly i did no school work i played w/ art.
I also got an application for the hobbolobbo but the first thing it said in it was about drug testing...So...
My sleep schedule is all sorts of fucked up.
And i haven't read a book all year o.O except for the Franny part of Franny and Zooey heh.
Chris writes me really thick letters and my mom thinks someones sending me drugs. Oiii.
Also, how terribly sad is it that Alexander McQueen died?
