freakin awesome grey's anatomy tonight. i loved merideth's fantasy dream.
today masselink had us listen to this 400 year old mass that was written exclusively for holy days at the sistine chapel...and as the story goes mozart attended it one day and went home and wrote it down from memory. it's really an incredible story, but what's more incredible is the music itself. it was an english all boys choir singing it and they had this one boy singing the soprano part and it just blew me away. you would never know it was a boy. my whole body seemed to react to the beauty of it, 'cause all my thoughts just slowed down and i was like in a trance. it brought tears to my eyes. it even felt like you were in a cathedral where there's nothing to absorb the sound so it's just these beautiful angelic voices reverberating off the walls and the ceiling. i really don't know how to describe it.
anyway..i found the recording on amazon and bought it. i had to.
today work was pretty cool because i just spent the whole time setting up for the wine bar. they wanted me to work it but i didn't want to be out late tonight anyway. luke p. came up with the most awesome idea ever to put a piece of pie in somebody's drawer. like, what the hell? but that would be so awesome. i love that kid.
now i am really tired and want to go to sleep. SF and blue angels on sunday jo!
