I’m throwing my objectivity as a sports writer out the window for this post. My high-school-like fandom on Rachel Ann Daquis has been officially renewed today thanks to an out-of-nowhere brain wave about the Shakey’s V-League. She had me at “mine, mine” during my college days.
I don’t know much about volleyball. I know it as much as Mariah Carey knows about acting credibly. All I know is that Rachel Ann Daquis is the prettiest volleyball player in the entire Milky Way and in other yet-to-be-discovered galaxies. Did I mention she plays well too? FEU should be put in equal footing with Harvard and Oxford just for having Daquis on their volleyball varsity team.
