NaNoWriMo
As some of you guys might know, I have decided to participate in the annual NaNoWriMo challenge this year after much hesitation and reluctance due to my history to keeping focused on the project at hand, which is the result of why my fanfictions haven't been updated for a while. But a day before the contest starts I decided to go for it.
Now we are reaching the end of November, the pressure is on to finish writing and I found myself not being able to stop writing until just 10 minutes ago I reluctantly removed my fingers from the keyboard, looking at the ending of my novel and slowly went to check the word count.
Final Word Count: 50,537
.... 500 words over the goal
I WON! OMG I CANT BELIEVE I ACTUALLY DID IT! *Jumps & screams for joy*
wow that was exhasting yet so much fun .. i never had this much writing done in such a short time; guess i was able to prove to myself that if i really concentrate on something i can get it done. What I'm really proud of is that this is my first year to attempt to do NaNoWriMo and I was actually able to make it
My social life is still intact, my work isnt delayed and nothing seemed to be out of place in my life and yet i was able to find a balance to be able to maintain my life and be able to finish my novel.
So I wanted to share with you guys one of the banners that I got as part of my winner's goodie ^^
I am definatly looking forward to next year, perhaps i'll use the technique of nano to get my first draft done
