So, Bush wants to veto a bill that could possibly save lives in the future - Funding of Stem Cell Research
Three Major, unbaised information points:
1.) It would be funded by the taxpayers.
2.) It would not garuntee ANY results OR cures.
3.) It is taking aborted fetuses and COULD encourge abortion - leading to a moral/ethical stand-off.
The final outcome that everyone, even republicans, agree on is that it will lead to progress in the medical field. It's just the republicans, and some morally conservative democrats that don't want to do this based on ethical principals.
Bottom Line: Improvement for the well-being of humanity, at the expense of personal moral fortitude.
Republican'ts hate this bill... but I compared this to the War on Terror.
1,000 US soldiers died
The bombing of innocent people to get the slim few that could harbor terror here in the states.
Lies, lies, and more lies. At best, extreme exaggerations of the truth.
Funding by the taxpayers... so much so the deficet has never been so high.
Definitely would not guaruntee ANY results OR cures.
I'm seeing that the conservative right-wing got themselves in quite the pickle...
