It's easy to knock the crass commercialism of the London 2012 Olympics. That's why I keep doing it on a semi-regular basis.
But whoever decided to market a promotional toy of an aeroplane originally designed and built in conjunction with the French, and which hasn't flown commercially since 2003*, decked out with the official 2012 logo really needs to re-examine that "forward-thinking" part of the remit:
