Me: I want to see that. Me and every other geek on the planet.

The Mom: Who's in that movie? I mean besides David Duchovny and that woman.

Me: (dies laughing) ........... Gillian Anderson?

The Mom: Yeah. Ok. I don't know who she is.

(Ahahaha...... "and that woman")

Episode #2 - Alison
(Seriously like 5 minutes later)

She called me: Can you look up a phone number for me?

Me: Sure if you can do a favor for me.

Alison: ......... Do you know anything about putty ... ?

I am thoroughly confused and start giggling: What?

Alison: That's what it sounded like you said.

I lost it for a good five minutes. Laughing, wheezing, crying, the works.

Alison: So what did you say?

Me trying to compose myself: Can you do a favor for me?

Alison: OH! Ok.

Finish up conversation.

Me: So what did you think I said so I can tell mom?

Alison: Do you know anything about putty ... or something like that. That's what I (think I) heard.

It didn't sound like you were speaking English!

I lose it again, and hang up.
