I have been returned to the City for roughly twelve hours. Rather than making a notice of this irritating fact immediately, I saw fit to tend to certain practicalities. Quite. In my case, it is mere aggravation that the time to which I returned on my leaving has passed in only a few hours, yet here, over a month. Even more inconvenient, I was rather in the middle of something.

That particular quirk should be very useful. It would be strange if you disappeared from your world for a long period of time, wouldn't it?

Indeed, the benefits far outweigh the negatives but it does leave one feeling a touch disoriented.
