I have been returned to the City for roughly twelve hours. Rather than making a notice of this irritating fact immediately, I saw fit to tend to certain practicalities. I.e., changing from uniform to casual attire, replacing the soured items in my refrigerator, and acquainting myself with the most notable change of the City: the implementation of currency.
I busied myself with browsing the shops in the Square, and eventually settling with an application to the crafts store. It is no "Sunflower Tailor" (for those not in the know, a wonderfully convenient store in my own world, a western clothing franchise, open 24/7) but it has served my purposes well enough here in the City.
My familiarity with its owner and no doubt quite self-evidently thorough knowledge of the various crafts whose supplies are there offered, secured my position in the store almost immediately.
I have a reasonable schedule, and by far one of the best features: a 30% discount on all merchandise! As I do not require much to get by in the City--I am no stranger to frugality--it will suit my purposes quite well.
I would also be willing to offer lessons in various subjects, should interest exist. The subjects include: sewing, needlework of various kinds, archery. Tutoring in any scholastic manner would no doubt be quite pointless here.
...
To the Octava, I must say, the features of Fornicarás are quite unique.

There is no point in going on, either at length or briefly. My exasperation with this place, with being jerked between intervals of one, now seemingly never-ending encounter, and this dragging City of absurdity, has exceeded the point where I have even patience with words.
Futility being the word of any day, I should hardly bother to wonder at who remains, at the state... Inquiry, observation, or simple chance will tell the tale.
