Happy Freaking Holidays
I remember last year that I said it was going to be my last year in retail. This year, I MEAN IT! At least this year the craziness was condensed into one week instead of being spread out over the entire month. But it wouldn't have been so bad if we didn't have The General as our store manager. Most of my frustration this week has come from him, not the guests.
So tomorrow I'll sit down and finish filling out applications for employment agencies. Don't have time today. :(
And just because my holiday hasn't been annoying enough, I found out yesterday that I CAN go to the new year's gala in dc. Unfortunately, since I didn't buy my ticket 2 weeks ago at $109, prices are now up to $225. Add to that a new dress and I'm not dropping that kind of cash if I'm going out of town next month. Since my sister is going with her friends, I'll probably be hanging out at home again this year unless Tiffany has plans. Meh. Yet another reason for me to get out of retail.
