Yes, that's right. I'm comparing my job to prison rape. If you don't like rants, don't bother reading any of this. Also, this rant will be almost exclusively in the present tense to create a sense of immediacy. Or something like that.

As of this Thursday, I'll be working two jobs. Fortunately, the second is not going to be very many hours, so I won't be insane. er.

Work schedule for next week:
Monday: 3-9
Tuesday: 3-9
Wednesday: 3-11
Thursday: 4-10
Friday: 4-10

Oh, except that I had possibly the stupidest customers ever to use self-checkout. They initially were under the illusion that they'd save time, but by the end, even they realized that they should have gone down a normal line.

Today was such a beautiful day! And I was scheduled as a bagger, too. The two almost never coincide anymore. Bagger is usually a bad thing, because it's usually raining and I have to go get carts. But today it was a good thing, because it was sunny and I got to go get carts. :-D ( Read more... )
