The thing is, *I'm* not involved in both these fandoms! I've never had the urge to write HP in my life, and then this just blindsided me.

And I feel a little guilty for sending all those post owls through the jet engines, but it was for a good cause.

I got the idea from Clarke's Law, and she got it from you, so props are indeed due. It totally fits, too, with his mom escaping the war, hiding as a Muggle, and teaching him magic in secret. (One of the reasons he's so good at obliviating is that he had to practice on his dad. A lot.)

I'm sure she didn't mean for that specific outcome, but I figured nothing good could come of that many confused owls flying around an active airbase.

LOL, I didn't think anything happened, just that it was some random thing, or I was missing something - which I was. Like I said - sometimes I'm frighteningly slow on the uptake. It was a long week, and I spent the afternoon cleaning. My brain is dead.
