Here is a link to a story about a swimmer being rescued from a Great White by a group of dolphins. This is the second story of this type I have read about in about a week. Also, many legends exist of dolphins helping humans. Why would dolphins rescue swimmers? Why would this attribute be selected for in the evolutionary history of dolphins?
