I love to read, but I can't help but find myself superficial for liking authors pretty much based on how, well, aesthetically their writing appeals to me. The Little Prince...The Great Gatsby...I dunno, I find myself liking how pretty-sounding their prose is. The meanings, though, enforce the aesthetic feel of the writing well.
Maybe, then, it's the combination of meaning and appearance.
