The hospital staff did warn me I would be opperating on about 10% of my normal energy levels for a while, and that it would take me at least 6 months to fully recover. I dislike the concept of 'trivia' when it comes to knowledge. As far as I am concerned, no knowledge is trivial, it just depends on the context; knowing a pound cake is called a pound cake because it contains a pound of every ingredient is trivial while you are eating it, but vital while you are cooking it ( Read more... )

I have some great ideas for animated gif icons, but sadly no way of making them. Can anyone recommend a simple, decent program?

1. J-Bear's hayfever is making her the Cough Queen of the West Side, poor thing (trickly snot - ergh!!!)
