Furious Angels
Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to my underground layer. As some of you may or may not know about a month or so ago we decided to take my old first guitar - this red Samick featured below - and take it into monster garage (for guitars) Howren Music style. Original plan - Refret old Neck, replace pickups.
This is an old picture of the guitar (not very good) it doesn't really show off the guitar as much as I'd like. I need to get the rest of my pictures back from Paul.
These two pictures here are of the new. The colour is kind of hard to differentiate in the pictures, but anyone who was/is able to it in real life can tell. Before it was Red (with plenty of dents and scratches) Our attempts at refretting the old neck did not go as smoothly as possible. I blame it on the fact that we have a serious lack of tools from what we need. We ended up switching out the neck for a Fender Tele neck. Hard-rock Maple w/rosewood fretboard and nitrocellulus coat. And we cut and shaped a bone nut for it as well. And of course I dropped in some new stacked Dimarzio pickups. I'll save you the details, but to give you an idea "These pickups have some balls" - Nathan Btw mucho's thx to Nathan and Sun for helping me with this!
