Woe for Turkey!! It has been an incredible holiday. Naturally I stuffed my stomach with moar food then was neccessarily. That night a certain Paul and I were supposed to go to Best Buy and do the whole camp out until 4-5 in the morning and buy stuff on discount. This plan failed however when a certain someone *Cough cough* decided that he didn't want to do it. I did however stay overnight. I got there at 9 p.m. and the store opened up at 5 a.m. My brother was gracious enough to stay with me for pretty much the whole time. He didn't intend on really buying anything but he did end up getting a blue tooth headset to go with his phone. That Edward kid has been so grood to me that I think I need to make this christmas for him super ultra special.
*returns to computer* Oh yeah, I forgot I was typing up an entry.
So at the Best buy I really wanted this Samsung monitor that they were selling. I'll spare you from the specs as I fear most people here wouldn't understand. Basically I was like the 18th person in line for one of these monitors and I got to the monitors first and some guy gave me something which was not what I wanted. I went back to where the monitors were and looked everywhere and could not find the one I wanted. Let me tell you folks.. it didn't take me long to get back to the monitors and there were not that many gone. They did not have those monitors in the store. Or they had like one of them. I did find something almost. Its pretty much exactly the same monior that I wanted except that its a full screen instead of a widescreen. And heres the weird part, at the register it rang up as like.. $289 or something. And the one I wanted was only supposed to be $130. So I complained to the manager "Its exactly the same monior except that its a full screen instead of a widescreen! Which makes it less desireable!" So she allowed me to take it for the price of the other. However after I got home and my brother told my dad our situation he has decided to write the manager of this Best Buy in hopes of getting a monitor traded out.
Paul and I sold that Linux Laptop I had for about half of what I originally paid for it (Not bad considering it overheats and the screen was broken (not my fault!)) And so of course I needed a new computer (especially to go with that new monitor that I got) So we went over to the Southpark Mall in Charlotte went to the Apple Store and yes.. I got me a 1337 Mac Mini. (check out
123MacMini.com for moar details! +Wireless keyboard and mouse and an iSight. I think this is the greatest OS evar. Me and Paul have decided that Mac's are just Linux.. in its best and most awesome distro.
P.S. Totally used my student discount
Stay tuned for danger!
