Still feeling lazy.

But I'm a little ticked off at the moment because my 500 millionth attempt at sending those hundred-laugh-a-minute videos back to my cousins in KY has failed. But then again, it's probably the data overload. Sending about 1 mb worth of pictures takes about 5 minutes. The smallest video we have is about 11 mb. The largest is about 89 mb. The total amount of video comes out to about 170 mb, which is over twice as much as I thought it was in the first place.

My alternate plan "B" is to just burn them all onto a CD. I could do that a few times and send them to whoever wants and/or needs them.

In the unlikely event that doesn't work, there's always my very-last-resort alternate plan "C". That consists of plugging the camera into my nearby TV/VCR, inserting a blank VHS tape, and playing the videos through the TV while recording them onto the tape. But that would take a long time and would require me monitoring every second of it. Not to mention that the average tape holds 6 hours of video. I can only fill that with about 7 or 8 minutes. Quite a waste.

But I have other things to worry about.. I just got my latest C/D Magazine yesterday (as in Saturday) and they have a comparo test between 4 luxury V-12 GT's- and one of them is the latest Aston Martin- the DB-9. Then there is that stupid "Story of Mankind" book that we have to read for JPII. Then I have to practice what I know on keyboard, so I don't forget what took me awhile to learn. Of course I mustn't forget LiveJournal.. I went 4 days without it and spent a straight hour trying to catch up. But in my opinion the most important (and yes, as in above my schoolwork) is keeping up a social life. If I were to stop talking to all the people I talk to... well that would just be bad.

Heh... I just referred to myself and being social in the same sentence. I thought I would never do that, not after I left the only school I had ever known and left the many friends I had there behind, most of them I had known since kindergarten.

But I don't regret coming to SJS for 6-8 grade. 6th was not really all that much fun, but I think you all could probably tell me why. My "teacher" that year, if I should even call her that, even critized the way I graded papers.

*sigh* Maybe I should just forget about that.

And while I'm thinking about school, we're all in for a completely new school next year. High school. Most people I know are excited, terrified, somewhere in between, a little bit of both... well you get the idea.

Only a few weeks ago I talked to one of my good friends and classmates, and they said that they felt kinda bad that they had not yet completely broken down and cried about going to a new school yet. The reason? JP2 will practically be like our old school. And you might be saying no it isn't, we won't all have the same classes, and you are right. But we are still all there, and sometimes just knowing that is extremely calming.

Because when I came to SJS for the first time, I knew one person in my class. And it wasn't even all that well.. our moms knew each other though church and we did things together a lot. But that was before we were even in school.. whe he went to SJS and I went to Gene Brown, we didn't see much of each other for 6 years. And then he wasn't even in my class that year. Heh.. even though we bcame really good friends again, he still wasn't in my class til 8th grade. I found that to be humorous. Ha. Ha.

And believe me, knowing that you are going to a new school where you (for all practical purposes) know absolutely no one, you don't exactly get the greatest of feelings. Just a little relation for you, if you should happen to care.

It was at that point I told my friend on the phone that I hadn't broken down either, and agreed with their reason for having not done so. Regardless of whatever else we talked about, that one part was rather interesting.

And since there isn't anything left to say, and I need to start reading the story of mankind again, I'm out for the night. Er...morning. Have a nice day.
