I'm freaking out...people tell me what to do.
I could:
A.) Stay here after I graduate, but move to a cheaper apartment and try to find a full time job, possibly via the Manpower route a la Little Maria. Or try to transfer to the Gap call center and move to Rocklin or Lincoln or someplace.
B.) Move home and get a full time job doing heaven only knows what. I could be a substitute teacher, according to my mom and they make 140 dollars a day. I would get to choose when I wanted to work, thus leaving plenty of time for other, more important things (i.e. doing nothing at all). And save lots of money paying no rent. The downside is that though I love my family, they drive me out of my mind in close quarters and for long periods of time.
C.) Try out more of these archaeology jobs, which would be ideal, but they would only be for the summer, be in another state, and I would have to move all of my shit (and i have a LOT of stuff, more than one person should really have) to Salinas.
D.) Variant of Option A: Look into local jobs through the Archaeology Resource Center at school, only those would probably be for practically no pay and off and on.
E.) Disappear without a trace.
F.) Stop wasting time and study for my test tomorrow.
Or I'm open to other suggestions, like if you feel disposed towards funding me on an extended tour of Europe. Educational purposes, of course.
My brother is applying for some jobs in San Francisco and if he were to get one, I would move with him there. And waste my time there rather than here. So, Derek, you may be seeing more of me than you ever wanted to soon.
