Right now, friends, Earl and I have a little number for you...Bury Me Beneath the Willow.

Shocking new developments in the Anna Nicole Smith affair. The coroner has stated that she did indeed die of a drug overdose, thus confirming the correspondingly shocking theories put forth by some enterprising reporters on the cause of her demise.

When I heard she'd died, I just ASSUMED that was what did her in.

Shall we have a bit of music? Though it may seem in bad taste, it would be difficult to lend this circus any more absurdity than it's already got. Something along the lines of...

Beautiful beautiful brown eyes
Beautiful beautiful brown eyes
Beautiful beautiful brown eyes
I'll never love blue eyes again.

Last night I staggered in the bar room
Fell right down on the floor
These were the words that I uttered
I'll never get drunk anymore.

Oh Willie oh Willie I love you
Love you with all of my heart
Tomorrow we were to be married
But liquor has kept us apart.

For seven long years I've been married
Wish I was single again
A girl doesn't know half her troubles
Until she has married a man.

Or if that's not to your liking, allusions to whiskey and blood on the highway are prevalent, or if you prefer something more upbeat, maybe... "When mama lay a-dyin' on the flatbead, She told me not to truck with gals like you; But you were just one more roadside attraction, And I went joy-ridin' jest for the view."

I highly encourage those of you unfamilliar with the bluegrass genre of music to rectify that situation. I'm embracing my roots, so to speak, as my mother is from Kentucky and my grandmother did give me her hand-made Appalachian dulcimer, instruction manual and all.
