ugh.

It is late and I am having the most horrible time getting anything done. I keep studying and it seems I'm not getting any farther on this. @_@ I'm up to my neck in Confucianism, Buddhism, Shinto and concepts of Harmony and why the Japanese think the way they do and act the way they do and it just.... I dunno! I get it, but I have no idea where to start on my paper because it's just SO MUCH INFORMATION.
Argh!

Did I mention I also have to translate the entire thing into Japanese? Yah. That will take hours!
I already told sensei last week that since I didn't get it done, I would have it done for tomorrow. But I don't know if I'll be able to. I really really don't want to stay up all night doing it because then I'll be utterly brain dead and useless tomorrow, and I need my brain to study for other classes and pay attention, as they cost much money and I don't want to flunk. Yes, that was probably a huge run-on but I don't care at the moment. Maybe later I'll go back and edit.

Anyway, I guess after I finally get this first paper done (and this is supposed to be an easy, single subject???) I'll post it so you peoples will understand my confusion/frustration.

I also am up waiting for my professor to e-mail me back to know if I have to have some 3 page paper done by tomorrow, 6:30pm. Which I don't see happening either way. I already have enough on my plate with Japanese. So yeah. Now I'm just trying not to procrastinate further and figure out how I'm going to put this paper together. It should only be about 2 pages, maybe a little more. However, since I'm writing the English version at my college writing level and the Japanese version at a child's grammar level.... I'll see how that works out. Very difficult I assure you. And confusing. I should probably take a week off the culture stuff just to go over the grammar again.

Yeesh. I need to stop ranting about that.
In other news my sister has a terrible cold/flu, my grandma is in France without knowing that her close friend's son is nearly dead from overdosing, and my uncle is in the hospital recovering from a horrible motorcycle-vs-car accident that has left him paralized from the waist down and with now fused vertebrae. So yeah. Not much to worry about in life, right? *headdesk*

btw, Munster is flooded. Really flooded. People have been evacuated to MHS. Take a look at the photos and the news articles.

Evacuations continue from flooded areas of Munster, Ind.

...And while all this is happening, I am stuck here. At Aquinata, home of nuns, only female students, a ghost or two (one which stole my mini-coloring book)... oh, and don't forget the demon in the chapel. Yay Life! Not.
