Elique nods to Arrym, grinning slightly. "Arrym....nice name. And your dearest? Which of my lovely relatives are you referring to? Perhaps...Mother? *quirks a delicate brow*"
You say [to Elique] : You called child? *grins*
Elique says [to you] : *grins brightly* Mother Nura! Your hearing is exceptional. How are you?
Arrym starts to respond to Elique and gets distracted by someone appearing. Turning his head, he faces someone he had not forgotten but dearly missed. Trying to control the emotions washing up his mind and soul, he steps forward in front of Nura, "I am back."
You say [to Elique] : I am well, for the moment. *turns to stare at Arrym* The girls told me my stray had returned. The young one I think would have thrown a fit had I not come to see for myself.
Nura 's gaze roams over Arrym's form, her face holding no true hint of her emotions. Finally she speaks, "You certainly took your time."
Elique nods to Nura, glancing back to Arrym. She steps back a little, so as not to intrude on the reuniting and such.
Arrym opens his arms, gazing at his mother, "You have not changed, it is the face I remember from a long time ago. It seems I was under humans too long, since the years draw their signs into my flesh."
Nura steps forward, wrapping her arms tightly about her son, still attempting to hold her emotions in check, "Much has happened, much has changed. I am glad you have have come home child."
Arrym presses his body tight against his mother's, "We all went trough happenings and changes, but I am most glad to be home at least. A big family I have left it seems."
Nura presses her cheek against Arrym's, the faintest of grins finally finding its way to her lips, "Many attempts were made to give your father the son he seemed to think he should have. He changed after you left child. Because of him, I lost my only other son, who took to wandering ways as well. The girls, they were left to live with what our family had become, what your father became, and what he led them to believe I was." A frown mars her ebon skinned brow, "But that is all over now, and both my sons have returned. Our family is whole once more."
Colette silently emerges from the shadows of the forest, her gaze flickering over those gathered.
Arrym feels the cheek of his mother pressed against him, "I heard about father's death, and it saddens me to be the reason for certain changes. Another son? There is a brother you mean I have not yet met?" Arrym gets silent for a moment, then whispers, "You knew I had to leave, to stand up on my own, to make me whole. It was the dream of the young me, but now I am not sure anymore if I found what I looked for elsewhere or just now, here at home."
Nura pulls away a bit, her eyes locking on those of her son, "Too long it has been, you do not recall your sister's twin?" She gives a light shrug of her shoulders, her mind flickering to things of the past, "I suppose it makes sense, even as an infant, he showed the signs of becoming like me. Your father did not approve, and so I kept young Eriador away as much as I could, to protect him. I could not allow his gifts to be stifled. I knew Ainvar would try to make him what he was not destined to be. His wish for a son like him, was too strong. It changed him, turned him against the truly important things, even his children. I have to admit, I am not truly saddened over his loss. Much that he did, has gone unrepaired."
Arrym feeling the familiar eyes reading his soul again, shakes his head, "There is some I do not remember or I have not tried enough yet. My memories are of playing with Shinnan in the woods, but ... Yes, there was someone else, but vague written into my memories. You know about the fights I had with my father and that I left in anger towards him. Still, his death saddened me or perhaps the fact I lost my chance to talk to him once more."
Elique wipes at her eyes, listening closely to her heritage that she is only now learning.
Nura nods to her son, fingers gripping his arms as she watches him, taking in every nuance of his features. "I recall the times with you and the twins, the good times. I try to put the rest out of my mind, though often it all lingers there, like a festering wound." She shakes her head as she continues, "Have you met the youngest yet, your sister Kesa? It was upon her the worst of it all fell. Your father, he had changed so much by then, it was as if I did not know him."
Nura looks to her newest daughter, forcing a smile as she reaches out, wrapping one arm about her shoulders, "There is much to be learned child. For myself, it is painful to relive the memories. Though perhaps if you speak with your sister, she can tell you what I have not been able to."
Arrym closes his eyes for a brief moment then opens them again, fixated upon Nura, "I should have stayed then but I did not know better as to leave. Perhaps there would not be any wounds now. Kesa? No, I have not met her yet."
Elique nods to Nura, leaning into the comforting arm and sniffling slightly. "I will most definitely speak with her, Mother Nura. These are things I should know to help me understand it all better."
Nura hugs Arrym once more, "You are home now, that is all that matters. Perhaps together, as a family, we can right the wrongs. Though I am not sure Kesair is able to be helped. Her wounds run deep."
Alaundo 's deep and mirthful laughs reach your ears before he appears from between the trees, taking long strides to the road and clapping his hands. He grins broadly at the gathered, his brown, weathered face wrinkling to the texture of a walnut.
Nura runs her fingers through Elique's dark tresses, "There is much that will help you understand. Tell me child, you shall be bonded soon, yes?"
Arrym holds his mother tight once more, bathing in a most familiar feeling, "Wounds can be healed, past can be looked at with different eyes. I promise to talk to her."
Alaundo says [to you] : Rootwoman! Well met.
Alaundo laughs out loud to you.
Alaundo approaches the board.
Nura smiles, comforted by her son's embrace, "In time I hope she will once again view me as her mother. I know truly she does not see me as such, no surprise considering."
Evvy bows towards Shirok, not making eye contact with the man, "Greetings, sir...I am Evumeimei Dingzai, known to most as Evvy."
Elique says [to you] : *nods* Aye, my bondmate has been chosen. I wait only for the right opportunity, I suppose. *smiles slightly*
Arrym nods, then smiles, "Sometimes a runaway is best to talk to her, then."
Sveyn emerges from the forestline, a large hood drawn over his face. Slowly making his way to the road, he stops and dips into a bow directed towards Elique before moving to the local message board.
Shirok smiles to Evvy as he returns her bow, "Nice to meet you ma'am. Most know me as Shirok around here."
Elique nods politely to Sveyn.
Alaundo turns from the board and folds his huge, brown arms across his chest.
Evvy nods her head, still avoiding contact, "Tis a pleasure to meet you as well, Shirok...Been around this realm long, sir?"
Alaundo says [to Elique] : Ah, Lyastris. Three of you.
Shirok says [to Evvy] : A few years I guess.
Alaundo says [to Arrym] : You're the other! A rare male, would you agree?
Elique says [to Alaundo] : *smiles slightly* You can count....good for you.
Evvy says [to Shirok] : That is a long time, sir...I'm new to this realm.
Alaundo says [to Elique] : More importantly, I can count correctly.
Sveyn turns from the board and retreats once more to the forests edge.
Shirok says [to Evvy] : Ah, well, welcome. *smiles* Is something the matter?
Elique says [to Alaundo] : *grins* Aye, which I implied since I didn't correct your number.
Nura oocly is going to have to go, waiting for the police to show up!
You hug Arrym tightly.
Sauda appears.
You hug Elique tightly.
Arrym says [to Alaundo] : Rare, perhaps.
Sauda nods.
Sauda smiles to Evvy.
Nura smiles to her children, "Until next we meet my little ones."
