Jeopardy!
I know I've probably told everybody this already, but on the 25th I'm going to Chicago to audition for Jeopardy. When I get there I'll take a written test, and if I pass that, I play a mock game and get interviewed, and then hope to be called back later. The test is supposed to be hella difficult and only a few people pass it at each audition, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there'll be a lot of questions about microbiology and German history. :D The best thing about it is that I get to take the day off from work and hang out in Chicago all day with Pyaar. I've never been in the city when it was nice enough to stroll the streets and window-shop, and I'm really looking forward to that.
I have some busy weekends coming up: next weekend I have to go to my friend Emily's bridal shower in Monroe, so I'll spend the weekend there, and the weekend after that, I have to drive to Monroe again to attend a different girl's wedding the day after I go to Chicago. The next week I'm taking Thursday and Friday off to drive to Tennessee and hang out at my brother's place for the Fourth of July weekend, hillbilly-style. Keep your fingers crossed that I don't shoot my ear off with a firecracker or anything.
