It's a Dog Day Afternoon
A lovely day here in the Lowcountry and I am feeling thankful for sunshine!
The dogs have taken turns romping in the yard. Meg has the choice to go out twice as often as Remy and Red....since she can, if she so chooses, go out with either of them, but they can't go out together (yet). Mostly the old lady opts for laying in the floor and not going out unless it is a) warm enough for the kiddy pool b) a leash/walk is involved c) a car ride is possible or d) she absolutely MUST go.
Remy, on the other hand, loves to get out and run. Still lots of puppy in her. She is surprisingly quiet, not even returning the mad yap-fest that is the neighbor's dachshunds. Red likes to go out, walk around. Mark his 'turf'... being the only male and all. And aggravate the weenie-dogs. Then he lays in his sandy spot near the screen porch door and 'suns' himself.
