Senior Discount.
Yesterday……
Clerk: “You can get a ten percent discount if you are old enough.”
Me: “I don’t want any discount that I have to be old enough to get.”
Me: Quietly turning to leave….
Clerk:”Oh, it’s not that old….50.”
Strangely, the woman looked old enough for the discount.
In my book, 50 of course is not old. I am not quite there yet (43), and did not really think I looked as though I would merit the discount.
