Stuart Townsend: Y/N?

I really want to like him, as I think he's cute, plus he does some goofy genre and Canadian productions which is always endearing, plus I'm inclined to solidarity with those of dark irish enfeaturement. But I regret to find his acting a bit uninspired.

I've been watching him in this French-Canadian series XIII. It's not that good. But the early episodes also had the unqualifiedly delightful Caterina Murino, who I fell in love with in the equally inspired British-Italian series Zen. Zen is so beautiful shot and has such a wonderfully relaxed pace... if you haven't seen it, you should check it out. It is only three episodes long. It's lack of renewal is an injustice that ranks with such infamnity as the cancellation of Firefly. (Except Zen can't muster the feverish support that genre shows can, of course.)

Anyway, forgive my tepid idiocy herein; I injured my already-injured spine this morning, with some not insignificant gravity, and have remained in a high degree of pain and intermittent panic for most of the day, and so am eager for the brief distraction here enacted.
