things are getting there. whatever that means.
this weekend i went to the illuminares festival with malloreigh and chelsea. it was so magical and surreal. so many lanterns surrounding the entire lake. fire dancers as well!
i headed home and then worked. anyway, that part is boring. but it was my last sunday working in the bistro! i never have to cook eggs for the rest of my life! i also don't have to answer questions about which meal is better when i haven't eaten any of them. well, that was a revelation yesterday. i only work one more sunday but it will be in the gallery. sweet deal!
last night i spoke to laryssa about my trip down to guatemala. i have never been so excited. i'm bringing my cookbooks and all these other items that laryssa has requested. today i must go shopping to get said items. speakers, sleeping bag, deal with the bank, travellers cheques stuff really. lots of stuff. but it should be nice.
it's sunny, not too hot out and i'm about to make a blueberry pineapple smoothie. oh how nice.
next weekend i'm going to victoria to see miranda and her band play and have a girly day with lindsay and mal and nigel. oh nigel. then the weekend after that on the eleventh mal and i are going to have some sort of bbq birthday going away party at crabbe park i believe. i'll keep you updated.
