It's been a good weekend, spent in the compay of friends and boyfriend. Drinks at the Hawthorn Lounge (and oh, I love that place- You can tell the bartender 'Make me a drink whose ingredients start with the same letters as those in my name!' or 'Make me a drink that goes with my dress!' and they'll do it) while playing ridiculously silly card games (high stakes go fish! and that one whose name I can't remember where you make up the rules as you go along!) on Friday, a trip to Petone to buy wool and go secondhand clothes shopping, then home to cook potato-leek soup and watch My Little Pony, yesterday. Today contained swimming and an unexpected reuinion of the St. Elsewhen RPG crew, with whom I went out for curry at my favourite local Indian place.
I'm now in the complabs, where I've no real right to be, probably, being a Modern Languages major, but I have friends who have access cards, which is why I'm knitting and listening to Nada Surf while LARP planning and studying goes on around me, rather than doing so at home across the street.
