summer and updates
seeing hootcha update her lj has inspired me to update mine. i too have that problem of falling off track and not knowing where to post about my boring life from. that- and i've just been too damn tired to update this thing; its been lk 3 or 4 wks O_o.
so anyway, i hustled up my stash and im lk...6 buck away from $1000 in "do wtf u want" money. most likely i'll get a little something or 10 for myself, get my hair done, and some new work / interview clothes and put the rest in the bank or my wallet for mad money. i really should put some if not all in the bank to ecru some interest, but my bank is mainly located in nj, so i have to find a bank they work with in ny to deposit into, otherwise its a pain in the ass; and we all know how i feel about pains in the ass... if everything is all good, i'll be expecting another $800. (theres an issue with a check which i havent received yet, so dealing with that is going to be a bitch. i'll only deal with it b/c hey! its 800 effin bucks! but there will prob. be an investigation as to where the fuck my money has gone)
this lady in my building was having a garage sale / flea market thing in/near the garden. she said she really wanted to get rid of this stuff and some things she didnt want back in her house, so she would donate them to the garden. she had this really nice mirror i wanted, and lucky for me! it got donated! so instead of buying it from her, i got it for free! lucky lucky me!
it has a tiny little crack but i think its cute as hell. i also got a bag, and 3 books: a journal, a sudoku book (no puzzles done :D) and a mystery lk 1 i thought dad would lk.
i've been into the gardening scene lately: its nice, relaxing, and lots of pretty flowers. the only downside: bugs that bite me like im caviar or something. on the fith, we had a cookout. we were in there from like 1pm to 11:30pm. we were the only nigs up in there. my cousins were in there playing spades by candle light XD. my sunflowers and wild flowers are in bloom, the mint is all over the damn place - its good smelling, but i only use it in mojitos lol, my irises (i think) popped up, but never bloomed, and i have some tree saplings in my box. birds / squirrels dropping acorns i guess. there are lk 5 of them. i dont want to throw them out though b/c....i cant have TREES in my garden box, so if i cant find anyone who would like to start a tree where they are, i might plant them in a park or something.
OH! and i officially decided: i want to go back to school, and i am. there are so many things im interested in / want to learn more about, and these temp jobs arent going to hold me down. i had to let the job at coogans go lk...a month ago. they cut down my hours so much, and then they wanted to put me on call. i had to tell them "sorry its not working out. please keep me in mind if you think you can supply me with more hours, but..." so... i dont know if i want to start looking for a job now with the stash so high,or if i even can, but i need to do so, even with going back to school.
