I feel the need to add two things that really deserve their own post.
1) DADT REPEALED. FINALLY. I jumped for joy when I heard the news on the radio. (And then I hit my head because I was in the car) It doesn't take away my disappointment about the tax deal or the lack of passing START, but it's nice to get something right.
2) My boy Osgood missed getting his 400th win last night. I am probably sadder than he is about it. The guy is so even-keeled that it's almost scary. It'll come, I know, but a bit of a lackluster turnout by the Detroit D (and Rafalski especially grr) was disappointing. He's the Wizard of Oz, man. It should've happened! Next time. And then he'll be one of only 10 goalies ever to reach 400 wins. And people say he's mediocre. Hrmph.
