RIP Madeleine L'Engle
According to the New York Times, she passed away yesterday at the age of 88.
Like Noel Streatfeild and L.M. Montgomery, C.S. Lewis, and Laura Ingalls Wilder, she was one of the beloved authors of my childhood for Wrinkle in Time and other books about Meg and Charles Wallace. More recently I've discovered her non-fiction and spiritual writings. She seems to have been a great and gracious lady, and a wonderful writer.
Rest in Peace and be welcomed into the next life, Madeleine L'Engle. You will be sorely missed.
