This is me petting my shiny new icon.
And if I could use more than one icon on this post I totally would. Instead I'm taking advantage of...HEY...just a minute.
Okay, I had to rescue my Shakespeare action figure from Isabel who thought she needed to chew on his head. Bad kitty.
Anyway, I was taking advantage of my...something. I don't know. I'm tired. Why I'm tired? I don't know. But I can neither type pings nor read more FMA. For some reason my brain wants to read Henry VI right now. I'm perfectly comfortable blaming
sadcypress and
roz_mcclure for that.
And I heard a quote today, that I wanted to pass on, but God knows where it is in my brain. Oh! In referring to the tradition of a New Orleans jazz funeral, the line was used "the pounding of the trumpets signals the hope of a more lyrical life." Actually, I don't know if that's quite right, but I love that phrase 'hope of a more lyrical life.' Cause really, isn't that a lovely turn of phrase?
Right then. Random London pictures since apparently I'm not going to actually write up the trip...anytime soon *flails* No, I'll do that soon! I promise! See, it's the beginning of the semester at FH, and I'm still catching up on work, and SOMEONE has me reading lots and lots of FMA manga...and, and *blah, blah, blah excuse excuse*
Me and Emmeline Pankhurst!
A random bit of awesome London architecture on Southampton Row
Sleep now. If I can convince my brain that I don't need to read crazy Shakespearean puns right now.
