today was our last day in the field. i drew some beautiful profiles and then beck and malena and i walked into town and gave the kids there a soccer ball. it was kinda awkward, but pretty cool.
i'm not sure how i feel. i know that very soon i'm going to be drinking beers and looking at the beach, so I'm mostly ok right now. I will miss my mountain.
this weekend: the ruins at chan chan, then a four day trip to cajamarca for partying and education about the highlands, and then field school is officially over.
not enough time to discuss it really. more later.
