Saddam gets the death sentence. Saddam will hang.
While I haven't formulated opinions on the verdict yet (I mean, I know he should be punished. But by hanging? Pros and cons swirl in my head), I am certain of at least this: the world would seem strange without Saddam.
He's an institution much like McDonalds and well, Kim Jong Il (ang layo). They've ALWAYS been around, at least during my lifetime. It's hard to imagine him dead, regardless of whether or not he deserves it.
*sigh* so this is how it feels, getting old...
