Because I just love memes.
Just came home from another fun day with Bessies Marcelle & ND. Spent a large chunk of my time with them glued to Bessy 'Celle's PSP--capping ballpens, guessing girl's phone-numbers and stuff. It got so bad they had to take me by the shoulders and guide me where to go. :p Embarassing.
Met Bessy 'Celle's Lola Tita, whom he claims is a lot like me. Largely because she's also deaf (which is just plain mean) and says "eh?" during clueless moments. Hehe. While I don't think the commonalities are *that* apparent, I really don't mind being compared to her. She's such a sweet, nice lady. And I think between the two of us, I have a bigger problem with my hearing. Hainaku, gigs-from-the-past-bite-you-in-the-ass talaga oo.
So anyway, now that I'm home I felt the need to kill time before sleeping, as always. Hence another meme, this time borrowed from Armand's friendster bulletin post:

- Estelle supposedly means star in french. But that's only a nickname. It was derived from the addition of my real name's initials: S + L = Estelle. S stands for Susanne, a modern version of my grandmother & mother's name, Susana/Susan. L is for Laurie, again one of my grandmother's names (Laura) modernized. :) I really prefer Estelle though.
2. What's your current problem?
- oh, nothing really. School worries mostly, particularly about ROTC (my filipi3 problem has been solved, yey) and whether or not they'll fail me (i hope not) due to absences. PE too. Hmm. Then there's this event I've been planning with some friends. The thing with events is that no matter how much you plan, there'll always be glitches on the day itself. So I'm bracing myself for that, and trying to iron out last minute details. Else, I'm quite stress-free :p

- single

- i think so, hope so :)

- blah. i don't feel like anything right now. :p

- right now? definitely the company of my friends. :)

- do i like music? yes. does music like me back? hmm. haha. not really.

why?
- i really don't have regrets. i think whatever happened in the past, good or bad, happened for a reason. and i wouldn't be who i am now if it weren't for those mistakes/sad events. so, i can't think of an answer to this question.

day, what would you be?
- parang gusto ko maging dolphin. haha. i initially thought of being a bird... but i'm afraid of heights.
12. Ever have a near death experience?
- no... but i thought i was in danger of dying twice. airplane-problems. the first, there was real reason for worry. i think one of the engines died? the lights were flickering, and everyone took out their rosaries and started praying out loud. the turbulence was horrible. good thing we made it back to the airport safe and alive. the second time was just caused by paranoia. i watched too many air crash investigation episodes on natgeo.
13. Name something you do a lot?
- oh, go online--chat on ym, check friendster, e-mail, do memes/online quizzes. i also daydream a lot. watch tv. hang-out with friends. listen to music. sleep.
14. What's the name of the song that's
stuck in your head right now?
- nothing's stuck in my head right now. my most recent LSS was "a whole new world" though (that disney song from aladdin. i dont know where i picked it up from)

the OPPOSITE sex?
- oh, this is hard. the face, in general. but what really makes me sit up and take notice is the guy's capability to hold a decent (preferrably quirky) conversation.

shows?
- if based solely on my preference? no.

- no. i might need one in the future though, eeyikes.

- it's alright i guess. i'm not happy with it though. :p

- i'm not a big fan of fragrances--i can never tell which ones are good/aren't. i prefer subtle smells though.
one thing i don't get, why people like the smell of flowers/fruits (especially citrus-y ones!). ang sakit sa ulo -_-`. lalo na pag airfreshener sa kotse, eeek. that's just me though.
