A Mouse!
Yesterday morning, Jason thought he saw two brown streaks scurry across the floor of the bathroom. After he left for work, I investigated the crime scene and noticed the stock of toilet paper under the bathroom sink had been chewed on by the furries. I love animals and could not bear to kill a mouse, especially since I have had gerbils and hamsters for pets. So, on my way home from work, I picked up a humane trap to catch our guests. I set it up underneath the bathroom sink last night. And what did I find this morning?
A bitsy mouse! I took a picture to show you.
The pic is crappy because I couldn't take it out of the trap. It was adorable, and I wanted to huggle it and love it. Unfortunately, this particular mouse is a wild animal and could have icky!diseases. After working out and showering, I packed it up in my car with a cup of gerbil food and some toilet paper. On my way to work, I drove it a mile away to the state forest and set it free there with a handful of toilet paper bedding and food. Everyone I've told this to thinks I'm crazy, expect for Jason who also loves the mice. I've set the trap again and will look for mouse #2 tomorrow morning.

I have to say The X-Files, even though there are probably better quality television shows I love. You just can't beat The X-Files when it is on, though. When it's good, it's the best.
