Why hello again! These are two silly commentfics I wrote for Ship Wars. The theme was "Hangover."

I love your idea of the little nest! I agree Uhura and Gaila need to spend more quality sexytimes together. Now you have me thinking thoughts about it--Nyota fresh from being ravished by Spock, getting re-ravished by Gaila in the dorm-room reenactment? With Spock's Vulcan pheromones still all over her? *shivers*

(I've actually already written a "Nyota arrives home after the first time" story [ The Virgin], although the result isn't so much hands-on sexytimes as "Gaila-assisted [verbal] reenactment of imaginary first-time dorm sex with virgin Baby Cadet Spock." But ITA that Nyota and Gaila have some kind of roommates-with-benefits arrangement that needs to be more thoroughly explored.)

I would *love* to hear Sarek's muzzy, half-hearted excuses

OMG, me too!! It's slightly addictive writing little stories where I get to make throwaway references to off-screen Sarek/Orion delegation--I get to conjure up whatever my heart desires without actually taking the time to write the whole story! But I would love to, because really. As you say, the muzzy half-hearted excuses (muffled by a combination of intoxication and Orion lip-locking) would be hysterical, even as the overall scenario? Unf.

I said it in another comment but I'll say it again: I would pay good money to read Sarek in the Waterverse getting ravished by the crew of the Renunciation, if only as payback for the reaming out he gave Spock in Repudiation. Okay, not only as payback. Also because IT WOULD KILL ME AND I WOULD DIE HAPPY.

Tiny footnote re: that Sarek/Spock Prime fic, it's not commentfic in the way that you and proudcockatrice write RP commentfic of utter genius. I only meant it was posted as a comment, for a challenge where we were limited to one comment field for the length. AFAIK it's single-author fic. Someone does totally need to RP Sarek/Spock Prime, though. Urgently!

And S/U + turbolifts. And Spock's dad + Orion delegates. ::sniggers:: I can so see a bunch of Orion's all eyeing each other like, "Now's our chance to check Vulcans off the list of species shagged!"

Hee, thanks! Also, OMG I know I need to write those Gaila/Nyota sexytimes and incapacitated Sarek/Orions! If only my imagination would settle down so I could write what I already have on the burner. Too many thoughts!

(I would give anything to know how people write such great stories so quickly! I feel like I write ten words for every six I need, then I spend 70% of my writing time trying to edit my sentences down to some kind of concision. Although I didn't with these ficlets since they had to be done in an hour--deadlines are good for my decisiveness, apparently. :) )

Also hee to the comment roulette--I've done that too, and then been like, whodidIjustreplytowhat? It's all good, though--everything finds its way back to the original poster eventually. :D

I totally feel you on people pumping out chapters and stories so quickly (and awesome ones at that!). There are a bunch of great S/U writers who do this and while I love it I definitely don't understand it since whenever I try to write I do the same... write... edit. Write... edit. And then with me I never finish. I think sometimes you just have to force yourself to write and stop worrying but this is definitely easier said than done.

In any case I am totally here to cheerlead you on! :D

Eeeheehee, Sarek + D'Nila et al. No guarantee that I'll write it but I'll totally note it down. The fact that the girls would be doing this as "payback" for chewing Spock out in Renunciation is a brilliant, brilliant idea.

Speaking of Sarek and dildoes of encouragement, do you and proudcockatrice know I'm stalking your Sarek-Starek RP thread? I learned how to use "track this" and now I get the updates in my mailbox. It's kind of weird and stalkery that I can do that, actually, but OTOH it's so thrilling when I see there's something new!

(Okay, maybe dildoes of encouragement aren't quite the right thing for that particular RP. Unless you're planning some Orion-on-Vulcan action for Sarek, in which case DILDOES OF ENCOURAGEMENT X 1000!)

(PS I don't remember where I read the initial remarks that led you guys to this RP--the time period is before Starek and Spock meet, is that right?)
