Hey! I wasn't able to finish my Het BigBang story on time, but therisingmoon still made some really beautiful Spock/Uhura and BB!Spock artwork inspired by it, which you can enjoy HERE!

Other random things:
1. The University of Pittsburgh has digitized John James Audubon's Birds of America, including the Ornithological Biography which is Audubon chatting away about the birds and their behavior. This thing is seriously amazing. Here's one of my favorite plates, which is barn owls + unfortunate chipmunk: Barn Owl
(You can drag the borders of the image box to give yourself more room and zoom in until you see the tiniest lines, it's incredible. ♥ JJ Audubon! He was a fascinating person; maybe I'll write about him more another time.)
2. Beautiful soy candles in porcelain bowls with tiny wood slats for wicks, handmade in Davenport, Iowa: Luminology.*
*(Noting for myself because Christmas gift ideas always escape me the closer I get to December.)
3. soixante_quinze sent me this video the other day, then today I ran across it on Amanda Palmer's blog and it reminded me to post it. Music from other hemispheres, yay!
