Heh, I'm having way too much fun playing with this variant of 20 Questions: http://en.akinator.com/
I started with a relatively easy character, Count D from Petshop of Horrors, and it guessed correctly.
Then I gave it a really obscure character, Renie Sulaweyo from Tad William's Otherland books, which he guessed incorrectly. Third time around I had Nobby Nobbs from the Discworld series in mind, and it guessed Ion from Tales of the Abyss (never heard of it), which even isn't close. It's good at guessing non-fictional people, though. It correctly guessed Sitting Bull for my historical non-fictional character, and Till Lindemann for my musical/present day non-fictional character.
