Cedric hadn't been to see Merope in awhile, he felt guilty for not checking up on her. She was such a lonely, but sweet person. He thought of her as a friend and not seeing her made him feel bad. He had been working and Marietta had came into his life in that time, but it still didn't sit well with him.
It was late, but he didn't care. He doubted she's care either. Knocking on her door, he waited outside the front door and hoped that she was home and up. He'd hate to waken her.
