There were times when Barty would just appear at Regulus' house. This was done for no reason other than he was quite certain that Regulus Black was his best friend. Of course, that was despite the fact that when they were in Hogwarts, he decided to start a project entitled 100 Ways to Annoy Regulus Black, amongst other things.
He had been lonely at his house, puttering around and trying to figure out something to do. So, he decided to go and visit his 'good friend', Regulus. He knocked on the door to his house. Regulus did not answer, but the door was unlocked.He decided that was a sign that he was invited in, so he wandered right on in.
Everything was out of place. Regulus lived in chaos, it seemed. His entire living room was aligned completely wrong. Barty moved the chair across from the couch, and replaced the couch with the coffee table.
"Still not right," he thought, before taking out his wand and transfiguring a newspaper into a vase. There. Much better.
