How many apples a day will keep them away?

Went to see my doctor today.
He slightly pressed on my right side, where I've been having my pain, and I flinched. Just that slight touch hurt bad. He knew my IBS was acting up just by feeling my bloated belly...but...
At first he thought it was my appendix. They ALWAYS think it's my appendix. But, I KNOW it isn't. The back pain, the pain in the lower right side...that's how it always is with my ovarian cysts.
He wanted to do a CT scan at first. Then he realized I don't have health insurance. So, because I don't have a fever, he just decided to do a blood test to see if my white blood cell count was high. If it was...then I'd need a CT scan.
It wasn't.
I knew it wouldn't be.
He told me to take Advil three times a day for my back. Should be interesting considering Ibuprofen never seems to help. The last time I had lower back pain this bad, they had me on so many different anti-inflammatories and pain killers and muscle relaxers. Nothing worked. Not until months later when I ended up on the floor of a bathroom in a restaurant, screaming. That's when my last ovarian cyst ruptured and I was rushed to the ER.
I'm terrified, because the symptoms are the same, that that will be the outcome again.
I asked why my doctors never took my cysts out. He told me - though I've heard it and read it all before - about how women get cysts every month. For some, they are worse, but in time they usually work their course.
Twice, working "their course", has ended me up in the ER. It is pain you never forget!
So, I will have to find a gynecologist. See what they say, though I have a feeling it will be the same answer. Basically, "Wait it out. It might just ooze and work it's way through all right. OR you may end up in extreme pain and convulsions on the floor, waiting to go to the ER."

So, I shrug.
I came home and slept for a few hours. I'm exhausted. I'm in pain.
But...I will take the Advil.
I will try to eat better (certain foods and drinks upset cysts).
I will try to exercise despite the fatigue.
And I will pray that this goes through it's cycle...quietly.
