Happy Birthday Eden
We had to celebrate Eden's birthday early because I am leaving for Basic Training. She was clear what she wanted for a party months ago: a spa party with just a few friends. Eden wanted to invite 4 friends: one from Caravel (her regular school), one from Hebrew School, one from her previous school, and a family friend. I found a place in Pike Creek that is specifically a spa for kids called Lil Angels Kids' Spa. It was really perfect. The kids each had a facial, manicure, and pedicure.
Next was hair and make-up.
Then they had cake and pizza.
Followed by a fashion show and Karaoke.
Eden's Aunt Amanda made hair bows as favors for each of the girls and I gave them each a book.
The neatest thing about the party to me was that Eden invited girls who never met each other before. They all did so well with interacting with each other and making the party fun.
And for those of you who have known Eden since birth, you have to feel what I feel when I think about the fact that she is turning 10 years old. How can that be?
