Update...
Sorry I've been so quiet on here. I've been around, just reading and commenting on Sherlock fic. Alot has been going on in my life and that's why the absence of posting as well.
I got a promotion at work. I'm now a manager. I'm now in charge of ordering all supplies, running the clinic, keeping my clerks in line, etc. It's good. It was also a two level pay increase as well, went from a Level 7 to a Level 9 in the Union.
On the romantic front, I'm single, or as single as one can be with your partner being a distant prick. He's been playing my emotions like a Beethoven Symphony and the sad thing is I've let him. You know you've been blindsided when he looks at you and goes "So you want to start dating again?" This after you've been intimate with each other prior to this. So apparently I was a "booty" call. FML!
On the other hand it has made me more open to seeing who else is out there. I can now openly LUST after this gentleman...who I have a snowballs chance in hell of ever meeting.

Damn he's pretty. *Pets picture* I'm okay with lusting after guys now. At least I know there are other fish in the sea who won't string me along like a duck toy.
Hoping you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving or Thursday. Dad and I went out to dinner. Love doing that it makes the day more special. Dad and I used to cook a whole turkey dinner and one year looked at each other and all the food and said "this is stupid." Plus it helps not being alone on the holiday. Makes missing my mom more bearable. Even after all these years the holidays still sting a bit without her.
