As of now

I am one tooth less than I was last Monday.
I was very paranoid about losing my blood clot, so I made Ben check it constantly.
The oral surgeon was really, really fun to visit!

I seriously really enjoy shopping.

I'm going to have my first physical since the required 9th grade physical. I actually missed the original appointment, rescheduled, rescheduled again.

Foot Skin:

I have this situation with my left foot where it blisters a lot, is really red, and just doesn't stop. The skin turns dead and cracked and peels off really fast. It peels because of the blisters. It just gets separated from the rest of me. Last time I went to see someone, she called a dermatologist who determined it was NOT fungus and told me to use some prescription topical steroid that is an anti-inflamatory. It worked, I stopped using it, though the skin was still red. It just wasn't blistering anymore. I guess I might have left a couple small blisters behind. So within about one to two weeks it came right back.

Officially she called it eczyma, which according to the first lady is just what they call it when they don't know what causes it. Which is just fabulous.

Anyway, I think it's rather creepy. Oh well.

Face Skin:

I used to have really flaky face skin, about 3+ months ago. I'd already established a regular washing routine, so the blemish issue was reduced to once a month. But if I moisturized extra for the flaky, I would break out. Lady at Clinique of course told me to follow their 3-step skin care thing. Basically I did 1 and 3, so I did add 2, which is exfoliation with "clarifying lotion" which is basically astringent.

In the first couple days, it definately was good. The skin was a little exfoliated, smoother, softer, better moisturized. But still for a month, month and a half, the flaking wasn't really resolved. The skin still looked dull a lot, and the flaking. But after the one and a half to two months, it's actually better! It still gets a bit flaky, but it's much better.

I only use the clarifying lotion once a day, as opposed to the recommended twice a day. I sometimes use a very gentle exfoliating wash. But otherwise I hardly use the Nutrogena soap anymore. I use a number of different cleaners, including a Tea Tree oil cleanser that has antiseptic qualities (thanks to the tea tree oil). However, I still have breakouts of unpleasant acne once a month. It always coincides with that part of my cycle which happens to also coincide with a drop in my face washing discipline. It happens when I'm just feeling more tired, and my schedule gets more out of whack (sleeping in weird cycles, resulting in missed washing).

My Right Knee:

It hurts. It's always hurt to some degree, more when I used it in certain ways more than usual.

One time in highschool I jumped from the piano bench over the back of a sofa onto the sofa. When I landed (crouched) my knee made a very loud popping sound. There was fairly intense pain and I was concerned that we were going to be screwed for not having health insurance.

Eventually the pain subsided, but I feel like since then the knee causes problems more easily.

For the past couple of months the knee has taken a slightly new pain at the bottom of the knee cap area. Sort of where it joins the shin. It's a sharper pain. And slightly jarring movements that didn't used to cause problems now make this pain.

My Wife and Kids:

I've been watching a show called "My Wife and Kids" a little bit lately since I'd be up and it's rerun at night. The littlest kid is really cute. The show is cute. I like it.
