HIMYM, WAT, CM, LOST and... did you know Queer as Folk is a fun show?
HIMYM - THE FRONT PORCH
Oh, thank God that bitch is gone!!! Not that I approve of what Lily did but thank you woman! The PJ-dress was slightly funny, but Robin's new show seems better than MetroNews1 - I had to rewind a couple times because either I payed attention to Lily or to Robin on screen.
What I did not like was the little Ted/Robin moment. I'm a Robarney fan, what can I say? I think the writers haven't decided yet which way they'll go. I'll just keep my fingers crossed.
WAT - VOIR DIRE - FINALLY!!!!!!
Ever since it was mentioned that Martin was getting a new girlfriend I've been waiting for it, and now he's got a woman!! Okay, so she's a bitch, but that's the fun part. Also, we got some action time, some fights, Maritn got to kick ass. Of course, I have no idea how Martin got to kill the Black Belt Mob Guy - I mean, I can see Danny doing. Or Viv. Even Sam. But for some reason, Martin actually fighting and winning against a Black Belt Mob Guy sounds... surreal. And, uhn, show, I'm pretty sure you got MPs who got suphocated/knocked on the head/shot to death/cut right open and survived. Shouldn't Martin check his pulse again? Cause that sounded a little bit too easy. I guess, if the guy actually survived, Kim would be in trouble. Sooner than planned.
And since we're at it, here's the thing: latelly, I've been reading Jonathan Kellerman's novels and he's a bit more (or so I think) realistic about DNA and warrands and that kind of stuff, so I've been laughing a bit about the way these things are portrayed. Only, this time, they decided "DNA is gonna take another day" and "we won't get a warrand in time". ANd I thought... uhn? Okay, show, either you're always plausible or you go to your Five Minutes DNA Take Out Land.
The JSB mess. Not bad. Not thaaat bad. I'd have expected far much worst. At least Jack is trying (though he should quit the scotch) and Brian is cute. As a daddy. To the baby. Aaaanyway, it will be nice to see Sam deal with Hanna - a character that I like, FYI, and that is kinda sounding like Jack. Without the psycho stuff. J/S is not bothering me as it did in BETTER ANGELS, and I can see chemistry there.
Good MP, I'm glad one of them turned out dead, for a change. And he shounded like CRIMINAL MINDS, didn't he? Haha! Reid found a match!
Finale is comming - and maybe the show will find it's end. But if they keep good episodes like this one, I'm thinking they may have a chance.
LOST - NAMASTE
I won't review it, Lost goes beyond logic and tries my patience way too much. I'll just say it was an okay episode. And I didn't exactly like to see Sawyer and Jack will be bumping heads again. But I think I made my mind on one point: Jack/Kate and James/Juliet, that's the shippers I'll go. LOL
CRIMINAL MINDS - OMNIVORE
It was the creepyest episode this show ever did. Sometimes, it was hard to watch because it was so bloody and violent. Also, not the best unsub of the season because that little twist on "who dunnit" was kinda silly. Actually, very silly and pretty much unbelievable. Couldn't the unsub just have killed the victim and taken over his identity? Either way, I did like the actor, and I did like the final twist. It's good to see they don't always get caught.
My favorite part: Hotch crying made me go "aaawww". Girly me. And Morgan was shaken up and half naked, both qualities I love. ;)
QUEER AS FOLK - SEASON ONE FIRSTH 5 EPISODES
It's a hot, smart show. And funny as hell, with a killing performance by Gale Harold - I gotta say this, however: if I'm sick of looking at his smoking hot ass, than they're showing it way too much. Brian kinda reminds me of HIMYM's Barney (wierdest crossover ever). And Justin annoys me quite a bit, even though I think he's a believable character, being that irresponsible and impulsive, typical teenager. Mike also gets to my nerves sometimes, he's way too innocent. Three charcacters that gotta grow. Well, I've read what WIKIPEDIA had on them already (shame on me), so I know that they eventually will, but it will be interesting to see how.
But I really enjoyed Ted and Emmet, very funny guys. And Deb. God, I wish my mom never turns out that passionate, but Debbie is a great character.
Guess my weekend will be full of QAF and Dexter episodes.
