weekcaps - with a late WAT review
WAT was on last week, but everyone else was out, so I waited.
And here I go...
HIMYM - Doug's around and Robin is a sex addict
I laughed. I finally laughed and enjoyed the whole plot!
Okay, maybe I'm sick of Robin getting turned on by the most unexpected events, and maybe she should seek some help. The only things that stand between her and sex, lately, are clothes and healthy teeth! Is nice to know she's not all that turned off by Barney, though - and Barney's a sissy. Well, not really surprised there.
I totally loved the kids, the flashbacks to Marshall's childhood - how the hell do they always make them look younger?? - and, particularly, I loved to see Doug where he, originally, was not! His hair is eek, but other than that, I loved the guy.
Will I get another episode before the break? I hope I do.
CM - Morgan epy with no Garcia flirting time?
Well, I guess it was a more serious episode.
Very good one, kind of paying their respects to the cops in general. I was pretty sure we'd have a flashback to Morgan's childhood - in fact, I remember seeing one casting list with "Younger Morgan" and "Morgan's Dad" as characters, but I'm kinda glad they cut it (if it was ever shot). Sometimes, flashbacks just get in the way. Mark Pellegrino was there, and I like him, ever since his second episode in WAT (the firsth was too silly, and his shirts were too horible to let me take him seriously), and then on DEXTER, and on CAPOTE, and now here. He could have been a major jerk, but he was just a stubborn, proud and nice guy.
The end was "meh", as usually is with this show. You just always knows what they're gonna do, don't you? The way they caught the unsub, I mean. The unsub getting shot was nice. And the funeral was cute to watch, sepcially because Shemar Moore is good enough to say just about anything.
Next week, one more before break. What will I do with my summer?
WAT - casefile. That's it.
Didn't review last week because, honestly, it was just casefile, and nothing original, just nice. Fun. Well planned, well acted. That's it, it was a good episode.
Oh, and Elena was wearing a skirt during the bust. Not her fault, it was the waredrobe guys. You thought Martin's ties were bad, but then Sam comes to work half naked and Elena wears heels and skirts to kick out doors and you think: WTF???
Other than that, all is fine in WAT-land.
