skinny boys are teh hot

I am having THE BEST DAY EVER.

First of all, I didn't have to come into work until, oh, about a half an hour ago, because Mom's car is in the shop and she had to borrow mine last night to go to hearings. So I got to sit around the house this morning watching selected parts (read: the Tennant parts) of The Christmas Invasion and then swooning over Tennant's holy-shit-sexy Scottish accent in the behind-the-scenes special. OH MY GOD. That accent is my master. I will obey its every command, and God almighty, I hope it commands me to rip off Tennant's tight green Lucky tee-shirt so I can lick his wiry body all over.

Seriously, what is it with me and skinny guys with accents? I've always died over them. David Thewlis, Gary Oldman, Christopher Eccleston, Spike-era James Marsters, and now, David Tennant. They all rip me to shreds inside. The only exception to this crush-rule for me is David Duchovny (and what is it with me and guys named David???), but he is definitely lanky and that monotone is just as good as an accent. NNNGH. But yeah, give me a guy with slim wrists and hips, and I'm a helpless, quivering pile of anniejelly.

This is probably why I just cannot get the appeal of Lee Adama on Battlestar Galactica, or even the hotness of John Crichton on Farscape. They're too All-American, cornfed muscle boy for me. Well, okay, and Apollo bores me. What? He does. I'm sorry, but I just couldn't care less about him. I was watching "Kobol's Last Gleaming" (I'm catching up on S2 so I can watch the new episodes, and the S1 finale kicked me off) last night, and I just ... meh. Nothing against him, or the Kara/Lee ship, but it's just not what does it for me on that show. I'm in it for the politics, for the mythology, for the tension. And Six/Gaius fills the 'ship void for me, anyway. Mmmmm. HOT.

I realized I haven't posted fic since June. That needs to be rectified soon, and I have a feeling it will involve a very naked, very sexy tenth Doctor.

bsg, hotties, drwho
