I STILL LOVE ZACK MORRIS. What? Don't lie. You love him, too.
Woke up early and had breakfast with Mom, which consisted of grits, biscuits, and news. According to today's USA Today,
the Louisiana death toll has risen by 104 as hurricane evacuees return to their ravaged homes to find their dead loved ones rotting in their ruins. Now, let's think about that for a moment. I don't want to be grisly or gruesome, but those bodies have been there since the beginning of September. It is now mid-November. Those bodies have been there for two and a half months, in the hot, humid Louisiana summer, surrounded by contaminated water. Needless to say, it ain't pretty. And this is what the victims of Katrina are left behind to clean up.
Of course, Katrina proved that our government can't take care of the living, so I guess we really shouldn't expect them to take care of the dead, either.
So thanks, FEMA. Thanks a bunch. You guys are swell. Remind me to get you guys something really nice for Christmas. Maybe I'll go see the Wizard and ask him to give y'all a heart in addition to those brains you guys so desperately need. *headdesk*
In conclusion, I GOT MY MIATA AND IT IS FUCKING SWEET. :)
